HAIRCARE REVIEW // ENVY BLOWDRY CONDITIONING KIT

Subduing frizzy hair is my weekly struggle and I’m yet to find a product set that genuinely presents results worth revelling about. I was thrilled when Envy Professional suggested their blow-dry Conditioning Kit because I’ve always relied on the blow-dry and styling combo to keep my hair in line. This “10-minute gamechanger” from Envy is an exciting three product set that consists of a professional hair treatment, gentle cleansing shampoo, and gentle detangling conditioner.

My hair has always been frizzy after blow-drying, and I have to depend on consistent styling to keep it looking sleek. This conditioning blowdry set is declared to repair, strengthen and enhance gloss which is everything I need in a kit so it’s no surprise I was super eager to try it out. I gave this set a two-week trial, so I could certify the results on my hair and now I’m more than ready to share my opinion with you all!

First things first, I would like to start with the packaging which I absolutely adore. It’s no secret professional packaging can influence a customer’s purchase, so Envy has really exceeded themselves in this department.

The first stage of the routine was to start with the cleansing shampoo. The liquid lathered up quickly, so I didn’t need to use a large amount. The suds were easy to wash out and didn’t leave any sticky residue in my hair so that was a virtuoso start. I find it extremely time-consuming with long hair to get all the suds out, so I was utterly grateful for this. The scent of this shampoo was also very citrusy which I absolutely loved.

The next step was to apply the Dual Fix 12 hair treatment which had a bubbly and water-like consistency. The bottle instructed me to leave it on for a minute easy so that’s exactly what I did. My hair began to feel extremely lightweight when I washed it off, and I knew right then that this was going to be a gamechanger product for me. I used the hair treatment on a weekly basis by choice, although you can also use it on a monthly basis before your hair washes by applying it to dry hair.

The last step of the routine was to apply the conditioner which had a thick and creamy consistency. I applied this from the middle to the ends of my hair and combed it through with my fingers. Afterwards, I altered the water from lukewarm to cool and washed the conditioner off.

The outcome of using this conditioning kit tremendously impressed me and I felt like I’d just walked out of a hair salon. A work colleague even complimented me on my shiny hair which boosted my confidence. I’ve used this set four times now (twice each week) and after every wash, it ends up looking more shinier and sleeker.

The set retails at £40.00 and can be purchased from the Envy website. Even though it’s dearer than your average drugstore shampoo and conditioner, you’re definitely paying for a salon-like experience from the comfort of your own home. It’s a quick and easy ten-minute washing routine that’s left my hair feeling glossy every time. I won’t hesitate to invest in this kit when I run out of this one and recommend it to others.
